The Forest Giant crew is taking an exciting road trip to New Orleans for the 44th annual MCN Conference: The Human Centered Museum. The team will be roving the streets of the French Quarter from November 1st-4th as we debut our edge computing platform through a fun interactive exhibit named The Magic Forest.
Made up of a collection of sensors, lights, screens, microcontrollers and computers, The Magic Forest is a stunning example of our platform, which provides a way for users to easily create and manage interactive digital experiences. Conference attendees will have a chance to play with our forest-themed exhibit and take a behind-the-scenes look at the different technologies incorporated with the platform. Don’t worry - the exhibit will return to Louisville soon for office demos!
MCN (Museum Computer Network) was established in 1967 to support and encourage organizations to integrate digital technologies into museums, cultural centers, and more. Museums in particular require continuous development for exhibits and visitor experience, which we hope to streamline through our Iot Edge Platform. It’s our goal to help museums create dynamic, engaging experiences that are simple to modify and build upon. The future of museums is now.
